Jun 11, 2021 · I have two coupes, both owned nearly 30 years now; W123 85 300CD turbo and W124 89 300CE with M103 petrol engine and K-Jet-CIS. The 300CE now has over 350,000km running strong with nothing requiring head removal. The m103 has proven to be a good motor with single cam and hydralic lifters that don't require adjustment.

Jan 7, 2023 · Hope you’re all well, w123 200 m115 engine (petrol) manual. Went for a drive and indicators stoped working lights dim. When I parked up battery light came on and it was dead. Battery was old so put in brand new one (voltage was over 12.6) started up straight away but then the battery light was on constantly.

Jul 4, 2010 · I thought I'd add some photographs of my most recent fun - Sub-frame removal and bushing replacement on my 1981 W123 300D. If you are searching this forum BEFORE starting the job then the I'd say you are better off trying to remove the bushings by using the car's weight to push the bushings out of the sub frame.
