In 1921 some hundrets of this early type of this pistol were sent for tests to the Army and from there to the National Police. The early vz22 have six slide serrations and an internal extractor.

Mar 22, 2013 · I’m not sure what to call it, and have seen it called VZ-98, VZ-22, and a Czech Gew-98. The rifle appears to be all there. All numbers match except the bolt. The bore appears good, but I haven’t cleaned it yet. It is Navy Arms import marked. Most all parts except the bolt and buttplate have Imperial German proof marks.
