VKS (ВКС) or VSSK (ВССК) is a Russian bullpup, straight-pull bolt-action, magazine-fed sniper rifle chambered for the 12.7×55mm STs-130 subsonic round. The weapon is also known by the name VSSK and the additional name Vykhlop (Выхлоп), "Exhaust", which comes from the development program.

VKS rifle, less scope and silencer, is quite compact and well balanced and could be a formidable CQB weapon. With ammo at hand, the design team developed a new weapon, which was first displayed to the Russian public in 2005.

VKS / VSSK "Vychlop" sniper rifle is fitted with large integral silencer that can be removed for storage, transportation and maintenance. Rifle itself is built using bullpup layout; it has integral folding bipod, and adjustable shoulder pad and cheek rest.

The Vychlop is a top-tier sniper rifle, available at the highest Fringe Settlers rank, "Magister". Its most notable aspects are its damage and armor penetration, which are easily the highest in Survarium, and allow it to achieve one-shot kills on even the most heavily armored opponents.

It's a 0.5 caliber bullpup-desing rifle with a large integrated suppressor that provides relatively quiet shooting, and it's designed for use by the FSB special forces units (something like the American Delta Force).
