Bought Vox VT40X on sale-some regrets - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jun 26, 2020 · Anyway there was a new Vox VT40X on sale at the local shop for more than half of the cost of the Roland, and less than the VT20X. Bought it and have tried it out. Some great tones, attenuation is good BUT, here's the rub, it seems to …
VOX VT40X instead of Orange 35RT? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Dec 4, 2015 · The VOX VT40X has blown my mind. I'm not a gigging guitarist, I have home recording studio so I'm looking for recording sound. This is a modeling amp with presents from Orange, Marshall, AC15, AC30, British, USA, you name it.
Katana vs Vox vt40x - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Oct 30, 2018 · The Vox has more versatility onboard (the Katana can equal it when using sneaky amps and Boss Tone Studio), but I prefer the Katana. Keep in mind that different headphones can produce wildly different results with the same amp. That being said, both the Katana and Vox have good sounding headphone outs.
Vox Valvetronix VT40X -- Tube Swap? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jan 28, 2019 · One thing I've noticed, comparing the Vox VT40X and AD30VT amps to the Fender modelers, is that Vox seems to really take "modeling" to heart. The Fender Mustang, Champion, and Super Champ behave like Fender amps with a range of different voices; they model other amps' tones but not their controls.
Vox VT40X or Boss Katana 50? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Sep 15, 2019 · The Vox was much more versatile, almost every amp mod is usable, the Vox, Marshall, and boutique mods are great. Easy to tweak on the go but does have extra amps and effects in the download program. I ended up using pedals with the Katana to get the sounds I wanted which defeated the whole purpose of buying the amp.
VOX Update: VT40 - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jul 31, 2015 · The VOX VT40+ Valvetronix has lots of power and a ton of features yet I was never in love with it yet I knew it had to be more capable than what I was hearing. I just wanted what I knew was in this amp to come out. It simply did not have the speaker quality to display its' wares. Total I have $369 now in this amp but now it's worth bragging on.
VOX vt80+ vs vt100x vs vt40x - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jul 1, 2011 · Now I have some cash and want to get a new vox amp to backup my AC15C1. I have a small dilemma: I can get a used vt80+ for 150 after shipping, a blemished vt40x for 150 with free shipping, or a new vt100x for $350 with free shipping. The 40's only have a 10" speaker, and the 80 and 100 have a 12".
Vox choices - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Oct 25, 2023 · There's a VT40X just sold here in the UK for £99, which is basically the price of an overdrive pedal... so if was in good condition and I just wanted something for home use, to learn to play guitar, for a young persons bedroom etc. I'd probably get that and if they were a Vox nut encourage them to save up for an AC15 or 30 in the future.
vox vt40x vs vt100x vs av30 vs idcore100 vs marshall code50?
Mar 3, 2016 · The vt40x vs 100x makes me curious. The only diff is the 2 inch larger speaker and cabinet and the power of course.$250 or 329.00 The av30 looks interesting by vox with speaker out jack and effects loop.No presets or editor- supposed all analog-2 channels- …
Vox his, white noise, VT40X,VT100X, vt20x - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jan 14, 2019 · Can anyone who owns a Vox VTX amp (not the plus or previous models) tell me if their amp makes a hiss or produces white noise when all levels are at 0? I just got a new Vt40x and there is a constant hiss/white noise. Again, this is with all settings at 0 so not a result of gain. Also, the built in Noise Gate does nothing to change this.
