Jan 14, 2017 · Picked it up last night, played it for a few hours today. Spent most time on the Vox models and the Princeton and I'm very happy. Princeton, Bass on 10, Treble on 10 Spring Reverb on 10 - vol and tone controlled from the tele - pure joy. Vox models had me playing along with some classic Luna tunes.

Apr 4, 2016 · Vox's hybrid amps are much simpler than the Mustangs. The Mustangs can be as complicated or as simple as you want them to be. Set up a couple good sounds you like and leave it at that. But the vox will be far easier to tweak. You'll probably end up spending more time playing guitar than fiddling around in screens with the mustang.

Jul 17, 2017 · The AV15 is a hybrid circuit (as opposed to the fully SS Roland and Vox VT) which, at least in theory, should give it a bit more "warmth", but really, I think any of the three should suffice as a nice practice/small gig amp. I've had experience with prior VOX solid state amps (AD120VT, and VT30) and they were very good.
