NAD + Review: Vox AV15 combo. - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Apr 17, 2017 · Recently got to try several vox amps side-by-side: Vox AC10, Nighttrain 15 combo, VT40+, VX1 and the AV15. So I was mainly comparing the amplified sound initially and would narrow down accordingly while having an amplified sound as reference when plugging with headphones into the amps which had headphone features.
Vox VT20X or AV15? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jul 11, 2017 · I just got the VT20X last week. I'm liking it a lot. Went with it because it was a little less expensive compared to the AV15. Pros are all the factory presets, user preset options and large variety of effects, tones etc. On the other hand the AV15 is a …

Jan 14, 2017 · Picked it up last night, played it for a few hours today. Spent most time on the Vox models and the Princeton and I'm very happy. Princeton, Bass on 10, Treble on 10 Spring Reverb on 10 - vol and tone controlled from the tele - pure joy. Vox models had me playing along with some classic Luna tunes.
Any reason to buy Bugera V5 rather than Vox AV15?
May 21, 2017 · Having played both, I like the AV15 much better - the Vox voicings are really good, and the others aren't bad, either. I found the V5 to be really boxy- and nasal-sounding out of the box. Seems that fans of those amps have stated that they need tube and speaker swaps for them to sound their best, but at that point you are adding another $60 or ...
Vox AV15 opinions? - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Oct 8, 2017 · "The Vox AV15 was a single input, single channel amplifier with one 12AX7 tube. One half of the tube powered the preamp, the second half served as the driver for the 15 watt solid state power amplifier."
Vox AV and VTX series. - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Apr 4, 2016 · Vox's hybrid amps are much simpler than the Mustangs. The Mustangs can be as complicated or as simple as you want them to be. Set up a couple good sounds you like and leave it at that. But the vox will be far easier to tweak. You'll probably end up spending more time playing guitar than fiddling around in screens with the mustang.

Nov 7, 2017 · Anyone have any experience with the Vox AV15? I have and I would recommend one. The AV30 is even better in that it has two channels. The Power Level is the icing on the cake for home/bedroom use.

Vox AV15 vs competition - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Feb 23, 2016 · Hi all. Just received an email saying my Blackstar HTR1 is delayed and won't arrive for two weeks! So, looked at what else is around and stumbled across the VOX AV15. Does anyone have any experience of using this new amp. Only has one tube in it but is all analogue which is cool. Any...
Roland Cube 20X or Vox 15W - Telecaster Guitar Forum
Jul 17, 2017 · The AV15 is a hybrid circuit (as opposed to the fully SS Roland and Vox VT) which, at least in theory, should give it a bit more "warmth", but really, I think any of the three should suffice as a nice practice/small gig amp. I've had experience with prior VOX solid state amps (AD120VT, and VT30) and they were very good.
