May 30, 2022 · We looked at Vortex 1x Spitfire AR prism scope and it seemed pretty good. I didn't like the Spitfire with magnification. I don't know anything about these scopes, so I would like your recommendations on a good one...

Dec 3, 2024 · I like prisms. Only ones I’ve really got experience with is the Vortex spitfire 1x and 5x. I definitely prefer over the few red dots I’ve looked threw. Bought the first one for the wife since she has an astigmatism. The rest when PSA had them on clearance.

Mar 12, 2024 · I personally like ACOG style reticle on 5x Microprism, over Vortex 5x. Vortex 5x is very useful in terms of quick distance shooting. 1st 2 MOA dot is 50/200 yard zero, next dot is 300, next is 400, 500, 600. Microprism 5x uses 100 yard zero as first dot, followed by 200, 300, 400, (up to 800 yards)

Aug 3, 2023 · I don't have any other prism to directly compare to, however, my cousin has the Vortex 5x Spitfire and I've shot his rifle with this optic a few times. I remember not liking the reticle on the Vortex vs loving the reticle on the PA. The FOV seems wider on the 3x PA, but no complaints on the 5x.
