Jul 7, 2023 · While in reverse if you tap the reverse camera image, you can disable the rear auto brake to avoid the sudden emergency brake you are experiencing. You must repeat this process every time as the car will only turn it off for the current drive.

Jun 4, 2024 · There is definitely a speaker just below the windshield on the passenger side, but it’s possible it is only used for the low-speed “spaceship” sound and not the reverse beep.

Jan 4, 2022 · Your backup camera (alone) should be the default when going in reverse; there is not any (known?) way to make 360 the default. However as others have stated here, the 360 camera will trigger if you have something nearby.

Jan 29, 2023 · A couple months ago my 2022 C40 started having a break squeeking sound while in reverse. At first it seemed to only be when things were damp outside, but about a month ago it started having the issue in dry conditions as well.

May 23, 2015 · Yes, it remembers the setting. Put car into reverse. Allow mirror to tilt. Adjust mirror angle/setting. Put car into park/drive. Done. OK I tried this but it didn't work. Any special steps? Past Volvos: 18 Volvo XC90 T8 RD; 15 Volvo S60 T6 P* RD; 13 Volvo C70; 04 Volvo V40; Bunch of other non-Volvo cars. mirror settings.

Dec 12, 2022 · When I back out of my driveway, the reverse camera turns on and that's great. However, when I am driving head-first into a parking space and I switch on the cameras, the rear camera is still enabled. I would much prefer the 360º cameras -- or even the front camera -- be enabled for that action.

Sep 11, 2023 · I used my kid's 3D printer to build a spacer for the rear hatch's camera/latch housing and significantly increased the vertical view. On the left, the original view, I can just see the wheels on the parked car. With the spacer, I can see over the neighbor's house! Much better for visibility during reverse, eh?
