Jul 30, 2010 · Your phone may be dialing too fast for the Telo to record the digits. The digits are not transmitted directly from the phone. The Telo receives them and then sends what they call perfectly formed touchtones to the outside world. Go to your online account and put the phone line in alarm mode.

Jan 21, 2012 · If she ignores the call waiting, she is eventually disconnected from her current call anyway, so ignoring does not help. She doesn't want to disable call waiting in her account as she had the feature with Bell Canada and wants to continue to use it with Ooma. I've had her check if Enhanced Call Waiting was enabled on her phone and it is not.
Low voice quality -Ooma Forums
Feb 2, 2022 · I've also been disappointed with the voice quality. It actually sounds worse than when making a cell-to-cell or cell-to-Xfinity VOIP call. I'm not sure of the cause. This is especially disappointing because Ooma seems to emphasize their voice quality. I tried cell-to-Ooma, and also Skype-to-Ooma. The Skype-to-Ooma used a Skype dial-out.

I have fast and stable internet with a switch that handles Qos so I'm pretty sure the problem isn't with my data feed. The phone I'm using is a Panasonic cordless unit. The same handsets were used for 5+ years with Comcast VOIP.

Jun 8, 2018 · Not so with Ooma though. WHen I make a call with Ooma to a landline, or receive a call on Ooma from a landline, I experience a lag, or latency, of approximately 150 to 200 ms. This is very annoying. This is similar to the lag one would experience on a not-very-good cell phone connection. This is not just sometimes, but ALWAYS.

Nov 14, 2015 · Today I tried to call my cell and I got the following message: "Your call cannot be completed at this time. Please hang up and try your call later." I tried calling my wife's cell, with the same result. When I call from my cell to my wife's cell I can get through. I tried the same calls in the morning and in the afternoon, with the same result.

May 13, 2015 · Subsequent call backs from the client recreate the issue until Ooma Office is reset. Issue 2: When transferring a call from one extension to another we dial *1 and then the extension. Ooma will audibly say "call transfer" and then we hang up. Recently, when transferring a call Ooma has not given an audible notice and has instead dropped the call.
