Swiss Army 1 Alox Single Blade Thoughts - Bushcraft USA Forums
Jun 11, 2019 · I like the Victorinox Alox models quite a bit. Although the celluloid models are fine the alox just feel like quality to me and I prefer them in my pocket as opposed to riding in a kit. I recently bought a solo blade Alox known as the "Swiss Army 1". It is four inches long and has a single blade which means it is very thin.
New Victorinox Venture fixed blades | Bushcraft USA Forums
Jul 3, 2023 · You can order direct from Victorinox in the US now. Most interesting is this strange accessory sheath. It comes with a spade bit that fits into a 1/4” bit driver cutout in the hilt of the knife, and a pair of sharpening rods that fit into the plastic knife sheath to create a v-shaped sharpening apparatus. $55 for this kit.
Stashing pins and needles in your Victorinox Swiss Army knife
Sep 30, 2019 · I now feel that the needle and thread stashed under the saw blade is the best option. I have stashed them in four Victorinox models: Huntsman, Fieldmaster, Ranger and Hiker and they are staying put when I deploy the saw, although no hard use yet. I coated the thread liberally with fixin' wax which helps hold the needle in place.

Jan 5, 2018 · The Victorinox SAK knives are grouped by length in milimeters (74, 84, 91 etc.). I'm not sure which model you have, but 91 mm scales should fit all 91 mm length Victorinox knives. Same for the other scale lengths. There are a couple …

Victorinox Paring Knives in basic Kydex sheaths.
Oct 23, 2018 · If you Google Victorinox and Kydex today you will find articles and videos on the bird's beak fruit knife. It has found favor as a defensive tool for non permissive environments. The 2.5" blade is legal most everywhere and the razor sharp blade is absolutely wicked. One of these rides in my wife's pursewith the sheaths fixed to the lining.
Victorinox / Recta DP-5 Box Compass | Bushcraft USA Forums
Jun 12, 2012 · This looks to be equivalent to the Recta DP-2, which is available. I'm guessing that the DP-5 was a special edition for Victorinox. There is also the DP-6 & DP-6G (global needle edition). The one that Recta is having problems with at the moment is the prismatic DP-10 which is undergoing a production delay.
Victorinox Farmer X in black - Bushcraft USA Forums
Apr 30, 2022 · The Farmer, Hiker and Ranger are my favorite Victorinox SAKs. I have been wanting a Victorinox in black Alox for a while. I was also getting interested in the Farmer X but wondered how much more bulky and heavy it is compared to the standard Farmer. Well, I stumbled upon a Farmer X in black at Knife Center and decided to take a chance.
440"A" vs. 420 HC <Buck> , do you have actual experience with …
Aug 1, 2024 · I admit, I am new to using 440 steel. In the past, nearly 100% of my knife steel was Victorinox SS, Buck 420HC, 8Cr13MoV and of course carbon steel and CR-V from Case. That isnt a lot of experience. If you have had hands on with 440A, like Rough Ryder and Marbles knives, and you have had...
