May 18, 2020 · Vanara is a race from older editions based on Hindu epics, first seen in Oriental Adventures (as far as D&D is concerned). They are indeed monkey people with fur and faces that are somewhat between humans and apes. I didn't want to exaggerate with the hands, but it probably makes no difference.

5E already has a race of simians: They're called "Human" or "Apefolk" if you think that fantasy names sound too goofy. Jokes aside I like the actual design. I would just go with the Loxodon's trunk as model for the tail though.

Oct 24, 2021 · I'm currently playing as a Vanara Rondelero Swashbuckler and this is the first time I've ever played a swashbuckler. I'm only level 1 right now but I've got Improved Shield Bash, Two-Weapon Fighting, and Power Attack (Don't worry, my dex is 18) thanks to the gm's rules.

Jul 8, 2023 · Not sure what you me by "future adventures" since every DM you play with will be different, and may not allow you to just "port over" a PC from another campeign. If this DM allowed it, make sure you both converted anything to be in line with 5e rules and wording. Tho, I recommend custom Lineage race.
