The Valerie Fund has always been there to provide emotional support for our whole family. They helped us make connections with peers to ease our feelings of isolation, added elements of fun and comfort to hospital stays and clinic visits, gave treats and cheer for holidays and special events, and provided educational support and advocacy at school.

The Valerie Fund is a not-for-profit organization established in 1976 in memory of nine-year-old Valerie Goldstein by her parents, Ed and Sue. Our Impact Families turn to The Valerie Fund because of the unique combination of medical care, counseling, and other services it provides.

May 25, 2016 · By 2012, The Valerie Fund Walk had raised a record-breaking $1,000,000, nearly twice as much as the year before and brought more than 4,000 supporters to the park. The 2016 Walk and 5K Run is on target to raise $1,000,000 for the fifth year in a row.

Oct 17, 2018 · The Valerie Fund's events have been in full swing since the summer. Starting with The Valerie Fund Walk & JAG Physical Therapy 5K Run on June 9th, the organization has hosted three golf outings, a color run, a karaoke media event, and wrapped up with The World Subaru 5K Run & Walk in the beginning of October.
