Sep 26, 2022 · The new MK8 Golf R is miles ahead of the mk7.5 in terms of driving dynamics and what not, and the new GTI is miles ahead of the old one, the new GTI compares closer to the old R then the old GTI, and the new R is much better then the MK7.5 R. Test drive em both, just giving my opinion!

Jan 23, 2024 · A mObridge tech lives a few minutes away and confirmed that the module is NOT compatible with the 2023-2024 GTI/Golf R and that it was wrong on the website. Serious bummer. My installer, myself and that tech got under the dash to see what we were dealing with. The 2023 GTI/Golf R doesn’t use the MOST protocol anymore.

Mar 7, 2023 · Volkswagen USA sold 6,924 GTI's in 2022. They sold 1,499 Golf R's. Thats a 1 to 5 ratio R to GTI. I have one of the higher mileage GTI's in the MK8 GTI Facebook group at 21,930 mi. I've seen no one above 35k mi and no one at 40 …
