Virginia Railway Express V301-V317, V801-V804 were 1952-53 Budd RDC passenger cars. They were originally delivered to MBTA, and were converted into trailers by Morrison-Knudsen in the 1970s by removing the motors; this conversion gave them the nickname "Boise Budds".
