Jul 20, 2015 · EM-26 is extinct but VNF-1 isn't worlds away from E6. The colour balance will be off but since the stock is pretty ancient anyway that may not matter too much, assuming a lab will take it on. Are you trying to develop exposed film, or use raw stock? Feb 18, 2019 · VNF-1 appears to require higher temperature for CD step, and the CD requires Benzyl Alcohol. The latter is needed to sort of dissolve color couplers and make them available to the dye forming process. It was contained and required in older color processes, but no longer in E-6.
Process VNF-1provides processing of the designated films through either ferricyanide or persulfate bleaches. The recommended process sequence employs ferricyanide bleach. The two alternate sequences employ persulfate bleach and accelerator. Each sequence has a normal- and low-contrast option for the camera films.
