Fighter Squadron 191 (VF-191) was an aviation unit of the United States Navy. It was established in 1943 and disestablished in 1978. The squadron was nicknamed Satan's Kittens. A second VF-191, bearing the same designation and nickname was established for a short time again between 1986 and 1988.

Fighter Squadron 191 or VF-191 was a short-lived aviation unit of the United States Navy established on 1 December 1986 and disestablished on 30 April 1988. It was the second US Navy squadron to be designated VF-191. [1] VF-191 and sister squadron VF-194 were the two shortest-lived F-14 squadrons in history.

The original VF-191 took part in WWII, Korea and Vietnam. During the latter conflict the squadron took part in several combat cruises, flying variants of the F-8 Crusader. The image to the right shows a VF-191 F-8E about to trap on USS Ticonderoga (CVA-14) in 1968.
