VCOSS serves as the peak body of Victoria’s social and community sector. Our members share our goal to eliminate poverty and disadvantage in Victoria, and include frontline service bodies, grassroots material support organisations and advocacy groups.
A deep dive on the 2024 Victorian Budget - VCOSS
VCOSS’s pre-Budget submission called on the Victorian Government to recognise community sector workers as key workers and establish a dedicated affordable housing program. This would help organisations to attract, recruit and retain staff, particularly in regional and rural areas.
