DuPont™ AirGuard® A2 FR AVCL is a fire retardant Airtight Vapour Control Layer for use within the internal lining of roof, ceiling and wall systems.

OBEX CORTEX 0230FR Class A2 AVCL membrane has excellent air and vapour-tightness properties which make it ideally suited to improving the airtightness, moisture management and energy efficiency of buildings.

Procheck A2 can be used on the internal face of a wall, behind the internal lining i.e. plasterboard., in the same position as standard VCL’s. If installed with a service cavity an enhanced thermal resistance of the associated airspace can be accounted for in the U value calculations for the element.

Visqueen A2 Vapour Barrier is a multi-layer reinforced aluminium AVCL (air and vapour control layer). The product has a reflective aluminium finish on the upper surface and a matt aluminium surface on the reverse. The barrier is supplied in single wound rolls (not folded), 1.2m x 50m long.
