As the F18 class grew internationally with the formation of the Argentinian and Chilean F18 Class Associations, the Americas championship was formed. In both 2012, 2018 and 2022 USF18 has had the opportunity to host F18 Worlds bringing in competitors from across the globe.

Together with the Austrian Hobie Cat Class Organisation we created a F18 scene with approximately 50/60 boats. About 20 boats are active in most regattas in Austria. Nowadays we have, besides Hobie Cat, also a Nacra dealer in Austria, so we don’t have issues with spareparts for our boats at all.

The US F18 rankings page will be updated periodically with the national rankings of USF18 members competing in regattas where at least three F18 entrants competing. Points are accumulated according to the total number of F18′s competing in the event.

Starting on March 1, 2021, US F18 sail numbers are assigned by USF18 to all new F18s and any boat that changes ownership. Sail number requests must be made to USF18 by email to [email protected]
