Urban Ore’s purpose was set in the 1990s by founder Dan Knapp and Board members Mary Lou Van Deventer and Michael Casady. That purpose, To End The Age of Waste , is now printed on every receipt that Urban Ore writes for its thousands of customers to carry home with them.

Urban Ore will pick up your unwanted reusable items from your home, office, business, or storage facility. For information and details about materials we pick up, areas we serve, compensation (if any) and requirements, see the Schedule Pick Up page and then give the Outside Trader department a call.

Items that you purchase at Urban Ore may be delivered by the Outside Trader for a fee. There is a $95.00 minimum delivery fee. If you want a delivery, you must notify sales staff at the time of purchase.

The General Store Department is housed within our 30,000 square foot warehouse and here you can purchase house wares, hardware, clothing, appliances, furniture, art supplies, musical equipment, media, knick knacks, and more! Sep 12, 2024 · Urban Ore’s Receiving Department opens at 8:30AM Monday – Saturday and 10:00AM on Sunday. Please arrive before 4:30pm for large loads – we close promptly at 5pm. We have separate receiving departments for the General Store and Building Materials. There are two separate entrances for each department.
