New Build on a Ledge. This home in the Newton Highlands was built on one solid piece of ledge. The home itself is quite unique as it follows the topography of the stone. On the interior, the double-sided stone fireplace is the focal point of the living space. Warm woods and oversized windows provide the home with a bright, open and airy feeling.

Fairfield County’s rocky terrain and famous underground stone formations were integral to the design for this Connecticut home. Large outcroppings of stone unearthed during excavation were harvested to create focal points including a distinctive ledgestone wall and masonry features throughout the property.
