Nov 25, 2019 · I don't have the UMI kit, but have some of the same features in the suspension I put together on my Blazer with the extra caster, tall spindle, etc. I run the 650lb spring and think it's a good fit with the iron 5.3 and weight of the Blazer.

Nov 13, 2022 · UMI, TRZ or QA1 control arms. TRZ is who I was originally looking at but the UMI kit looks really nice too with the taller ball joints, they are just more expensive. Anyone have any experience with those two in particular?

Dec 16, 2019 · My truck will have 2” drop spindles with new stock coil springs. I have a cast iron 6.0 in it and I will be mostly using the truck street cruising with the occasional track day every now/then. Taller ball joints will effectively increase the height of the spindle.
