May 9, 2022 · The ULTRA TEC V5 Faceting Machine meets all of my needs when I do gem faceting. I can quickly position the mast, quickly calibrate the index vernier, and quickly set up angles. The Digital Angle Dial (DAD) is very precise up to two decimal places.

Mar 28, 2020 · Y’all I would like to know the difference between the VL classic at $3995 and the V5 classic at $4950. Is the V5 worth the extra $955? I've had my VL for about a month and have cut six stones with it. I ordered it with the DAD and a Dial Indicator depth-of-cut gauge... That added about $800 to the basic price.
