Jun 8, 2011 · The Ulsan plant only paints certain colors. Not sure if there is a difference in the paint makeup. Your tires will be Hankooks vs the Continentals put on at the Alabama plant. Both aren't great, a little on the noisy side. You will also get regular emissions system. The Alabama plant is the only one producing the PZEV models.

Mar 13, 2011 · Parkway Hyundai's website claimed to have 2 Elentras from the Alabama plant with black exterior and gray interior. Of course when I drove there to see them, they didn't have any Elentras left in inventory. I put the link to one of them below. Although they had no actual pictures of the cars to verify the colors were what they claimed.

Sep 21, 2011 · If one must choose between Ulsan and Alabama, I would base the choice on colour or patriotism only. Basing the decision on tire brand, perceived build quality or anything else is a recipe for disappointment when the car shows up. For the record I toured the Alabama plant in 2008 and was very impressed.

Jan 3, 2024 · I have been able to find all parts to fix it except for the radiator support. This is a Korean made (Ulsan plant) vehichle so of course it calls for an Ulsan plant radiator support that are all out of stock or very expensive. Does anyone know what the differences are between the Non-Ulsan Plant 2 and the other radiator supports?

Oct 19, 2014 · The Montgomery plant is one of the most modern car-producing facilities, today. I'm sure it rivals the Ulsan plant in every aspect where quality manufacturing is concerned. Pick your ride based on your personal preferences: color, options, etc.. Then, drive away and feel good about it. You'll be fine.

Jun 8, 2011 · I’m looking at getting a 2011 Elantra Limited in Blue Sky Metallic, however it looks like only the Ulsan plant makes them in that color. I’m not looking to start an argument – if they are identical that’s fine with me but if there are some subtle differences I’m just curious to know.
