Dec 26, 2024 · Ulsan GPS is the world's first LNG-LPG combined gas complex power plant, constructed with an investment of 1.4 trillion won by SK Gas in March 2022. The equity structure consists of 99.5% SK Gas and 0.5% Korea Development Bank.

Apr 28, 2023 · Named the Ulsan Gas Power Solution, or Ulsan GPS, the 140,000-square-meter (34.6 acres) combined-cycle power plant is Korea’s first power plant that can burn both LNG and LPG as fuels. The power plant, which began construction in September last year, is the first of its kind in the world deployed at such a scale, according to SK gas.
