Siddharth Sinha (born 1978) is an Indian film maker, whose Bhojpuri short film, Udedh Bun (2008), won Silver Bear at 58th Berlin International Film Festival 2008, the first ever such award in the history of Bhojpuri cinema [1] and 2008 National Film Award for Best Short fiction Film.

In 2008, he starred in the Bhojpuri film, Udedh Bun. [9] In 2009, he was part of the critically acclaimed movie Vihir. [10] [11] In 2010, he wrote a play titled Geli Ekvis Varsha (which was directed by him as well) which was performed at Italy's Universo Teatro. [5] In 2012, Rajwade was seen in Ha Bharat Maza. [12]

Udedh Bun, started with a germ of an idea: an adolescent boy caught between his sexual awakening and an ill, bed-ridden mother. The film explores the dilemmas and fantasies of the boy.Siddharth came up with the idea about two years before he actually made the film.
