The Uboinik is one of the most iconic weapons of the Metro Series, featured prominently throughout the game and on numerous promotional materials. It is also one of the more useful guns in the game, being effective against virtually any opponent once up close.

The Uboinik (Russian: Убойник, literally "murderer" or "killer"), also known as the Shambler in the English is an automatic revolving shotgun that was created from scrap by the metro dwellers at some point after World War III... or that they told me.

A Uboinik with a bayonet. The bayonet is only available for the Uboinik automatic shotgun in Metro 2033. It greatly increases the user's melee damage, and it is quite handy if you do not have time to reload and mutants are very close. It could be advantageous for stealth kills as the fact that ammunition is not required for the bayonet.

May 8, 2020 · In rangerhardcore i prefered the ashot, on normal the shambler. Uboinik is weak in exodus, Ashot on the other hand is OP. i usually pick the shambler (ak furniture, fixed 6 round drum and long barrel) was my go-to weapon in 2033-last light-redux.

Nov 8, 2022 · That’s pretty much Uboinik for ya. It’s probably one of the most well-known weapons in the whole Metro series and rightfully so. Uboinik performs extremely well in tight environments and can easily run through lined-up enemies.
