The plaintiff might want to depose somebody at USHPA regarding how we train and rate pilots, as an example. Part of what we pay for with our annual insurance premium is a really good legal defense, so that when we do end up getting sued for whatever reason, we have good representation in court.

On June 8 th, 2022, the directors and members of the Hang Glider Manufacturers Association, by unanimous vote, elected to dissolve the association. That process has now been completed.

I received the following information via the USHPA Yahoo. I am posting it here because I think there are issues that might be of interest to other pilots. (Only USHPA Chapters can participate in the Third Party Liability Bodily Injury and Property Damage Insurance program. USHPA’s Third Party Liability coverage is for the purpose of covering the landowner(s) of the Chapter’s controlled sites.
