Check your renewals. I just got shocked today; mine went up 25% when all I did during last 6 months was breathe! Edit: change the wording from “close to BK” to “massive payouts” due to hurricanes.

I called USAA requesting to get my son removed from my policy but they told me as long as my son has a license he needs insurance and would not be able to remove him until we had shown proof he was insured by another company or he gave his license up. Sometimes rates are great, sometimes not. I definitely recommend shopping but usaa still has many benefits, coverage availability and service perks that are noteworthy.

Mar 23, 2022 · I too have found USAA to still be cheaper for Auto Insurance by a fair amount, I recently got quotes from Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, Geico and Progressive and they were all appreciably more than USAA.
