U.S. Route 29 or U.S. Highway 29 (US 29) is a north–south United States Numbered Highway that runs for 1,043.3 miles (1,679.0 km) from Pensacola, Florida, to Ellicott City, Maryland, just west of Baltimore, Maryland, in the Eastern United States, connecting the Florida Panhandle to the Washington–Baltimore combined statistical area.

US 29/US 74 offers access to Charlotte Douglas International Airport before intersecting with Billy Graham Parkway. Here, US 29/US 74 is named Wilkinson Boulevard. At Morehead Street, US 29 splits from US 74 where US 29 briefly overlaps with NC 27 and then intersects I-77.

US 29 begins just west of Baltimore, Maryland and heads southwest to Washington, DC. From Washington US 29 heads southwest through Virginia, passing through Lynchburg and Danville before arriving in Greensboro, North Carolina.

US 29 was a latecomer to Maryland as a US highway, not arriving until 1934. Its original path today seems a circuitous one. From current 29, north on 650 from White Oak to Ashton, then northeast along 108 to Old Columbia Pike, meeting US 40 in Ellicott City.
