The Natatorium is the primary lap swimming venue for UMD students and RecWell members. This facility also has the ability to host large-scale swim meets and dive competitions along with other aquatic activities.

We should be swimming all the time! Aquatics provides opportunities for the University and surrounding community in water-based physical activity and leisure and education on water safety practices. Goals include safety in/around water, improved fitness and leisure, motor skill development and competition.

Located on North Campus across from the Heritage Community, the Geary F. Eppley Recreation Center is an open and welcoming multipurpose facility that offers a wide variety of activities, including cardio and weight training, basketball, bouldering zone, racquetball and squash, swimming, badminton, as well as group fitness classes.

RSOP utilizes many different facilities that promote recreation, fitness, and exploration of the outdoors. RSOP operates out of various facilities within the Sports and Health Center (SpHC) as well as external locations on and off campus. Facility users must carry the appropriate pass at all times. Hours are subject to change by program need.
