Close to 4 gallons added so I have a mix. Dad's L3800HST is suppose to have Super UDT 2 (ACCORDING TO DEALER)I am leaning toward super even though it is 20 dollars a bucket more.

Dec 3, 2003 · The SAE paper basically explains why Kubota was forced to upgrade their UDT specs to Super UDT. Mostly it is due the major advances in their tractor hydraulic equipment over the last ten years or so, especially with hydrostatic transmissions, electronic solenoid actuated gear selection, and the much higher pressures and closer tolerances generated with the new hydraulic pumps.

Apr 9, 2013 · Super UDT was then superceded in the 2000's to Super UDT2. What the difference is, I can't explain, because I don't know. I remember this well because checking the oil level was nearly impossible with the shiny dipstick and crystal clear super udt; where regular UDT at that time was more of a honey colored oil, and easier to see.

Mar 23, 2020 · All the manuals say super udt or udt. They don't say super udt or equivalent. yeah the base comes from same place as another brand that doesn't mean it's the same stuff. The same brand also makes a bunch of other stuff, comes out of the same warehouse door and is loaded on the same trucks. Still not the same.
