I would really only recommend or even consider the UDM PRO max for two reasons. If a UDM wasn’t powerful enough. Or if I wanted to have a “One product does most” You have 5G IDS/IPS, twice as powerful as the UDM Pro/SE, and has redundant video storage. Personally I like to separate out devices like having a dedicated UNVR.

Nov 1, 2020 · Bought the UDM-pro 4 months or so and put in a spare 500 GB drive. Recently bought a 2 TB drive and 3 days ago decided to replace the 500 GB. I shut down the UDMP, unplugged it, replaced the old drive, turned it on, got a message on the little led touch screen than the boot up was taking longer than expected.

We offer two SFP+ options (1 gig GPON and 10 Gig XGPON) for commercial installations that work well with the UDM-Pro and SE. The two speeds work on different light frequencies (colors) and are not interchangeable. The SFP+ ONT module must be compatible with the UDM and the ISP uplink. The ONT is "provisioned" and "adopted to the fiber network.

Jan 7, 2023 · Not familiar with the process on a UDM-Pro but this is probably the result of ARP cache on the UDM. You can clear ARP entries via the CLI with the clear arp command, from what I see on the Ubiquiti forums.

Sep 1, 2022 · I will rebuild my network over the weekend. I previously had a Cisco 2960S-24TS-L switch which acted as a layer 2+ switch with static routing. The VLANs were living in the switch and the UDM-Pro had manually added routes to the VLANs. I now have a USW-Pro-24 layer 3 switch in my hands with 10 Gbps DAC to the UDM-Pro.

May 14, 2022 · I have this one in my UDM pro. With the Comcast modem that has a 2.5 GBPs RJ45 and 1.2 Gbps service, I usually get 1.4ish. (The UDM shows it at 10 Gbps.) I also have the same on in the LAN SFP+ port going to a PC with a 2.5 with no problems. *edit spelling
