These Identity Standards include a comprehensive identity system including logo and crest usage, typefaces, color palettes, photography use, correspondence guidelines and templates for Conferences and Churches to use when using both their logos/names and the United Church of Christ logo/name.

The United Church of Christ logo is the most visible and recognizable element of our identity. We encourage United Church of Christ congregations, associations, and conferences to use these logos in their social media, print publications, and websites.

Jun 6, 2017 · The new logo retains an updated version of the traditional element of the UCC comma — a much-loved and widely used emblem of the United Church of Christ introduced as part of the “God is still speaking,” identity campaign.

The primary UCC logo consists of an updated comma emblem and the words “United Church of Christ” using ‘Regencie’ as the type face. Gill Sans can also be used in conjunction with the Primary UCC Logo. The UCC’s tagline: God is still speaking, (words followed by comma) is an option to use with the logo (see below).

The emblem of the United Church of Christ is based on the ancient Christian symbol known as the Cross of Victory or the Cross Triumphant. Traditionally, this symbol-the cross surmounted by the crown and all of it atop the orb-signifies the kingship of the Risen Christ over all the world.

Jun 8, 2017 · As of this month’s General Synod, we’re giving up the orb and cross logo we’ve used since 1957 — triumphal, colonial, paternalistic…–in favor of a redesign of the now-familiar UCC Comma — “never put a period where God has placed a comma,” emphasizing God’s ongoing presence and revelation.
