U12 age grade is organised on a league and blitz basis. No knockout rounds are permitted as part of the U12 league programme. In U12 County ran leagues, counties are permitted to host concluding finals days.

The official rules of the LGFA will apply to all games however U12 small sided games have the following modified rules which are applicable to the non- competitive league format; Play to commence with a throw in in the centre.
