Feb 17, 2022 · TL;DR: Open Hand Tsumo is not a Yaku (Win Condition) but closed hand Tsumo (Menzen Tsumo) is. Richi can only be done with closed hand. But if you do not have a valid Yaku in hand, Richi enables you to "Ron" from others, if they drop the winning tile. Just be mindful of "Furiten", when calling Richi.

Apr 20, 2018 · TSUMO (all concealed tiles) is 1 han, the more han, the more points. That really should be enough. I have no idea how to stream gameplay (I have a PS4 Pro and a headset) but if someone knows how and this is something that would interest people, I would stream mahjong with me explaining it for people who are better at learning visually.

Feb 27, 2021 · Tsumo/Fully Concealed Hand – again, as has been established, Tsumo is the act of going out by completing your hand by drawing a new tile. Worth 1 Han, but only if you have a closed hand. Otherwise, it's worth nothing (though will still win you the round if you have 1 other Han, or 2 if you have Two Han Minimum turned on, more on that later).

Feb 22, 2021 · Tsumo: this one is pretty simple: all it is is finishing the requirement of making 4 sets of 3 and a pair by drawing every single tile in your hand, or in other words, finishing a hand without stealing any tiles from opponents. That means that if your hand becomes exposed by calling chi, pon, or an exposed kan, you cannot get this yaku.

Dec 21, 2023 · After having declared riichi, you can win by either ron, which is calling an opponent's discard, or tsumo, where you draw the tile you need from the Dead Wall. If this happen on the first go-around, you will be awarded ippatsu. Yes, you can declear a ron or tsumo after riichi. But, You don't have to be in riichi to declear ron or tsumo.

Sep 11, 2018 · Yakuza 4 required you to get an All Pairs hand, which is also very rare. Compared to these, winning at all 6 tables and getting out 30 times with tsumo/ron is nothing, especially if you consider that you have 2 cheat items (assuming you used one for the substory) which trivializes the hardest tables.
