The campground is situated on the shores of quiet Trumbull Lake, a 100-acre lake surrounded by towering peaks and glacier-carved cirques. A dense forest of lodgepole pine covers the campground, providing ample shade in most campsites.

Trumbull Lake Campground has 45 single-family campsites and is located next to its scenic namesake among a lodgepole pine forest. Some of the sites have partial lake views. Campsites can accommodate tents, trailers and RVs.

Trumbull Lake Campground is set in a thick lodgepole pine forest on the banks of scenic Trumbull Lake. Aspens and summer wildflowers dot the landscape. The lake offers canoeing and fishing for rainbow, brown, and brook trout.

Trumbull Lake Campground is set in a thick lodgepole pine forest near the shore of quiet and serene Trumbull Lake, in the Virginia Lakes area of Mono County. This region is clustered with lakes at the foot of towering 12,375-foot Dunderberg Peak.

Trumbull Lake Campground, located right along the banks of the gorgeous Trumbull Lake, is shaded by a thick lodgepole pine forest. Visitors can go canoeing and fishing in the lake, and the campground offers campers potable water, vault toilets, and firewood available for purchase with the campground host located on-site.

Trumbull Lake was drawn down and renovated in 2021. The lake was restocked in 2022, but due to dryer conditions, the lake did not reach full pool leading to less than successful survival. Fish were stocked again in 2023 and spring of 2024.
