Apr 18, 2017 · Having owned a late model '75/'76, '71, and currently an early '69 model TR6's, within your criteria I would recommend either a '69 or '70 model year and revert back the distributor advance to pre-emission TR250 5 13 10 code spec.

Feb 15, 2016 · About 25 years ago I also updated the rear springs on my prior TR6 using TRF competition springs and liked the results. I don't recall for sure, but thing they were also lowering springs. I'm sure TRF has also changed suppliers or something in the last 25 years.

Nov 14, 2013 · The three terminal one used for the later TR6 is a good one, and will turn on the pump when 4 lb. of pressure is sensed. An injection needle with approx. a .030 orifice aimed directly into the carburetor air stream works well.
