Mount Benom, also spelt Benum, is the tenth-highest mountain in Peninsular Malaysia, according to some sources. The trek up this peak takes at least 2 days and one night but is usually done in 3 or 4 days, depending on the route. There are 3 routes to the summit of Mount Benom.

Gunung Benum is a huge mountain massif all of its own, quite separate from other ranges. It is the third most prominent peak in Peninsular Malaysia, after Gunung Tahan and Gunung Korbu and therefore ought to be quite popular. However, despite only being around 3 hours from Kuala Lumpur, Benum doesn’t see as many hikers as might be expected.

Trip ke Gunung Benom adalah trip dambaan semua pendaki. Bagi yang ingin melengkapkan status G7-11 mereka wajib sampai ke Puncak Beirut Benom ini. Tiada view indah di puncak. Hanya Beirut dan papan tanda sahaja. Campsite pun waterpoint terhad. Trek mossy diikuti dengan perjalanan roller coaster.
