Apr 11, 2014 · Western White Trillium (4-petal form) Occasionally you’ll find trilliums with four petals and four leaves. This one was growing above the ditch along Mt. Baker Highway headed to the Mt. Baker Ski Area. It’s the only time I’ve seen a “quadrillium.”

What's this tree/shrub with white 4-petal flowers?
Jun 10, 2016 · There's a small tree or large woody shrub in our garden with fragrant flowers appearing in June in Oregon. Although four-petaled and white, they seem different from the dogwoods we have. The petals seem to be true petals and not sepals, and they bud differently.

Why Do These Trilliums Have a Green Stripe on Each Petal?
There are quite a few green stripe trillium in the wooded areas around the Forest Hill Apartment complex in London Ontario. I have found 2 mutant varieties – an almost all green one with 4 petals and a completely double one – 2 sets of three petals – absolutely stunning!
