Jan 27, 2009 · The Trident 65/75s were plain vanilla consoles, all based on TL072 ICs with no real clever circuitry, they just work. Issues are dirty pots (common with budget Brit consoles), and weak power supply. I installed a 75 in a studio in '85 or so, did a mod on the first 12 channels: added a tiny 3 pos. toggle switch on the Low EQ to select 40-80-120 Hz.

Sep 12, 2005 · The series-65 (same as series-75) have active/electronically balanced (transformerless) mike input, and start with transistors as a front end input amp. Line input and the mostly of outputs are also electronically balanced, but insert send/return are not balanced.

Aug 31, 2012 · I am looking for a 16 - 24 channel board, and a friend has a Trident Series 65 (the 24 channel one) that works totally fine (other than a non working channel 1, and I'm sure has some dusty pots) that he is just looking to get rid of at "a negotiable $2000".
