This is the summer collection for 2013. I called it Escape because I felt there were so many mindlessly followed rules in the fashion scene that I wanted to escape; Most of all the strict gendering, as well as the air-brushed aesthetic typical of fashion shoots. Light pink/sand coloured melange sweater fabric with plush inside in 100% cotton, certified organic by GOTS and made in Turkey by Lebenskleidung. Sewn with lyocell thread. The only thing not 100% natural in this pullover is the spray-adhesive used to assemble the aplique (it is supposed to be environmental friendly though) and the print on the labels.

The ongoing Portrait series is an attempt to step away from the typical approach of using models as blank canvases to project a vision onto. Instead I work with the subjects (my friends) in the photos and try to reflect their personality, work and interests through the clothes I create.
