The 12-valve (2 valves per cylinder) DOHC 5M-GE is familiar as the engine of the Toyota Supra and Toyota Cressida of the 1980s. It was quite different from any previous member of the M family, with Bosch L-Jetronic -derived electronic fuel-injection (using an AFM intake measuring scheme), wide-angle valves, and belt-driven dual camshafts.

Jul 5, 2015 · I had a turbo setup with a RRFPR and it never really ran well at all so I changed just about everything. It is a pretty cheap setup in terms of cost but it is a full standalone setup. It was a pretty easy and straight forward install. Easier than even a PNP AEM on a 7mgte because of the multiplex crap that never seems to work right.

Oct 16, 2013 · 5mge turbo pros and cons?? -Most 7M turbo parts will fit. many need modification though. -TERBO SPEED GO!!! -it has umpteen million miles. -transmission won't handle it for long if you have the A43. The A340 will take it a bit longer but not forever. The W58 just depends on how you drive. some people can kill it at 150 hp, others are OK at 350.
