Jun 27, 2018 · The regular NTO5? If so the R888r is a much stickier tire. My car came with 590whp and 2nd was useless with the NTO5 summer tire.

Nov 12, 2023 · I currently have the Toyo R888r and like them. Before the toyos I had some Mickey Thompson ET Streets and absolutely hated how the soft sidewall made my car wallow all over the road. I live in the Mountains of NC so I will be driving on some curvy roads. Will the Nitto NT555R2 feel more like the MT or the Proxes?

Jan 4, 2022 · I have R888R on all four corners. Completely restored my confidence in the car. Feels like it's on rails. They do make some noise above 50 mph but I can't really complain because my exhaust has the ability to wake the dead. Don't let the noise scare you. It's not that bad in my opinion. I have heard a lot of good things about the Toyo Proxes TQ.

Jan 27, 2018 · Don't forget about the NT01. Nitto & Toyo are the same group. The new R888R is just a reworked NT01. NT01s are very sticky and corner just as well as the 888 lineup.

May 3, 2017 · I ordered the R888R's for my Viper in 295/30/18 and 345/30/19. The fronts came in last week, the rears made it to Kansas City this afternoon, I'll see them in the morning. I'm looking forward to running them.

May 2, 2020 · The Toyo R888R is a 100 Treadwear with a OD 27.5 and the Michelin Cup 2's are a treadwear of 180 and also a OD of 27.5 I dont believe I will have any issues with ABS compatibility since my front tires are 27.2
