May 10, 2022 · How do i tell which model Tokai SG is? There seem to be many different ones out there but look same, like SG-35, SG-43, SG-58 etc. I know now that SG-92 is MIJ but even that doesnt look much different from the other versions to me.

Jul 3, 2004 · I found out about Tokai and its great copies a while ago, and heard they are gonna be sued by Gibson. Can anyone give me a quick run down on Tokai's different SG models, which are the higher end ones, which are the more budget line models etc?

Mar 30, 2011 · Tokai's are nice and there's nothing wrong with them, but if you're willing to go used, you could easily find Gibson SGs for cheaper than Tokai's and for much less. I've found several SGs...

TOKAI SG is probably made in 2003 or 2004 . The quality of wood and components is on par with the Japanese Tokais and dare I say it, many of the Gibson models from the last 15 years. plays amazingly, solid well-built , SG lightweight around 6 lbs and it's not neck heavy , SG is all original!
