The Tornado Intercept Vehicle 1 (TIV 1) and Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV 2) are vehicles used to film with an IMAX camera from very close to or within a tornado. They were designed by film director Sean Casey.

The Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV2) is a mobile tripod built for capturing close-range tornado footage. It features deployable wind flaps, anchoring spikes, and layered armor made of steel, Kevlar, polycarbonate, and aluminum.

The Tornado Intercept Vehicle 2 (TIV2) started as a Dodge Ram 3500 and was modified by IMAX filmmaker Sean Casey for the 2008-2011 seasons of Storm Chasers. It intercepted several tornadoes, including an EF-4 in Mississippi (2011) and an EF-3 in Kansas (2013).
