Jul 1, 2024 · Hi, a few weeks ago I updated my TikTok account and changed my profile picture, as well as added different emojis to my name and bio. The changes showed up fine on my end, but while on my other TikTok account I noticed the changes I made didn’t update. I tried looking at my account through Safari and still the updates wouldn’t show.

TikTok is mainly for Gen Z'ers and Millennials to prance around in and waste their time on. Most of them don't even have desktop PCs or, if they do, they use it for nothing much other than to match Netflix movies etc. So TikTok has no need to bother to create a desktop browser or desktop app version of TikTok.

Dec 31, 2020 · I can't get my pfp on TikTok, to change from the default photo since yesterday. I keep trying to change it in my settings, but the pfp won't allow me to save it. Today I tried again, but it showed me a comment saying "slow down your editing is too fast".

Mar 7, 2023 · My solution has been, because there are 2 TikTok apps with different unique package names, to install both (I use nova launcher so one I name TikTok orig, the other TikTok re). I use the unlatched one for editing my profile or posting comments. It's not a solution, only a work around until figuring out what specific patch code is causing it.
