Not tiger balm but straight peppermint oil*. You get the super tingle/cooling feeling without the intense smell tiger balm has. Its also cheaper but be careful around animals peppermint oil is considered poisonous to a lot of them. *this isnt an endorsement of essential oils haha

Apr 3, 2022 · Mona Tan Strong Pain Balm. I got the recommendation from an Ayurvedic neurologist. Look for it at Indian markets. It's a mint balm so the scent is soothing, but also gives the same pain relief as Tiger Balm. I am very smell sensitive and can get a migraine from a strong scent, so I occasionally put some under my nose just to block another smell.

Golden Cup Balm is similar to Tiger Balm except it adds wintergreen (methyl salicylate) and eucalyptus oil (which is a mild counter-irritate that smells nice - but it's toxic in higher doses on the skin). This page has several other Thai balms. Harex - just wintergreen. Similar to Solanpas.

Dec 16, 2014 · Tiger Balm is made with petrolatum, or petroleum jelly, which can cause a reaction on some people's skin. There are some other, more natural alternative to Tiger Balm out there. Battle Balm is herbal and doesn't have petroleum or artificial ingredients. It is kind of like a traditional dit da jow, but in a balm form.

I forgot to take off a Tiger Balm patch before getting frisky once and the guy sniffed me all over and declared I smelled like a ‘sexy hippie’. I’m old and ache-y all the time; I should make red Tiger Balm my new signature scent.

Jan 25, 2022 · I used tiger balm for a whole year until I found this CBD roll on. It works wonders on the base of my skull, neck, shoulders, & temples while I wait for the medicine to kick in. Temporary relief definitely, but not sticky, messy, or burny like tiger balm.

Jan 6, 2023 · There are lots of exotic topicals: Tiger Balm, etc. There does seem to be something special about the Tiger Balm and Bone Setter’s Water (Xheng Gui Shiu, if I remember). I sure don’t know what it is…they all are just basic camphor topical rubs…..

Feb 7, 2024 · Topicals such as Tiger Balm are designed to penetrate the skin. You aren't going to absorb significantly more into your blood stream if you use it on broken skin. These products instruct you not to use them on broken skin because it can cause irritation and pain.

Dec 17, 2023 · What do I have to lose? Literally was prob 1.5 weeks out till a head formed and drained. Yay. 3 DAYS OF USING THIS STUFF-and POOF. No pain!!! NO boil!!! I think between the compresses and then when I introduced the tiger balm it started healing itself and dissolving internal verses growing and rupturing like it normally does!!!!
