Apr 18, 2003 · I recently narrowed down my hitch mount bike rack decision to the exact same two bike racks and I chose the Thule 998 Trailblazer over the Yakima Roc 'N Gate. Both bike racks are great and solid solutions. IMHO, the Yakima is the heaviest, but the bulkiest.

I do have an option for you but the female end of the locking cable on your Thule Trailblazer 998 is not replaceable because it is built into the entire arm assembly.
