Think Like a Pony is a powerful, internationally recognized program that equips children and families with the skills to train, ride, and connect with ponies.

The Club is an online learning environment which gives children a robust education in all aspects of horsemanship through video lessons, e-books and worksheets. From developing a relationship on the ground with their pony to understanding holistic horse care and balanced riding, the Club is a complete educational package.

Through our award-winning programme children learn all aspects of horsemanship and horse care, in an holistic and ethical way. Our programme centres on three simple areas we believe children need to learn: to communicate effectively and safely with a pony on the ground; to ride with confidence and balance in the saddle

Through learning to build a relationship with a pony, children learn strategies that empower them to take control of their physical, mental and emotional state. This in turn helps them to build stronger relationships, re-engage with learning and see a future for themselves.

From developing a relationship on the ground, to understanding holistic horse care and balanced riding, Think Like a Pony helps young people and families to excel in all areas of horsemanship.

Our approach is backed by a robust syllabus developed by ourselves - the Think Like a Pony Club. The Club was launched in 2021 and is now international, with members in the UK, USA, Europe and New Zealand.

The Think Like a Pony ethos is based around learning to respect self, respect others and take responsibility for ones' own actions. In order to develop a relationship with a pony and excel in practical skills, children learn strategies such as controlling breathing, body language and voice.

How can you tell if horsemanship is a lifelong passion or a phase before you end up with a stallion shaped hole in your bank account? Well, here at Think Like a Pony, we know the signs that your child is serious about horsemanship because we were once horse mad kids at one point too.
