I've seen several cartoon versions of The Fantastic Four over the years. The latest one is now broadcasting on the Cartoon Network and has outstanding animation and graphics. However, I still favor this 1967 version, which consists of only 20 episodes.

"The Thing" segment featured the tales of the teenage superhero Thing/Benjy Grimm and his supporting cast. "The New Shmoo" segment had the shape-shifting creature Shmoo (from the comic strip Li'l Abner) helping a trio of amateur sleuths to investigate mysteries.

At the start of the closing credits is an animated version of the The Addams Family (1964) opening credits, with Thing providing lyrics to sing along to.
